Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aSupply Chain Subcontract Specialist3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
The selected candidate will join our E-2/C-2 team in Global Supply Chain and perform the following activities:
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be able to collaborate closely with executive leadership, program managers, contracts, operations, business management, quality and engineering.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / college with 6years of experience in a Global Supply Chain Procurement or Subcontracts organization
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate across associated disciplines and functional teams
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintainan active,DODSecret Security Clearance
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and accomplish them simultaneously
- Must have the ability to understand and analyze complex proposal data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with SAP or a comparable Purchasing Software System is preferred
- Experience with FAR desired
- A Secret DOD Security Clearance
- Aerospace procurement experience
- Master's Degree in a business or finance related field
- Strong negotiation experience
