Description
SAIC is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to support multiple DoD weapon system development efforts. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience defining the technical architecture of major weapon systems and the system trades, analysis and planning required to support design and development. The selected candidate should have proven experience in leading and managing system engineering efforts to support integration, architecture, development and sustainment activities of a weapon system. Strong ability to define and execute systems engineering processes and discipline consistent with best practices is critical. The selected candidate should have excellent communication, planning, team leadership and analytical skills with exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments. Knowledge of budgeting and ability to estimate financial impacts of modifications to architectural alternatives is required.Qualifications
Knowledge of MBSE to include the use of SysML tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink, Etc.), must have direct experience leading systems engineering of complex integrated programs/systems.
