Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Clearance Required)

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Essential Functions:

-Provide support to program by reporting status in the classified business system on all General Procurement open orders.

-Actively work to ensure critical part shortages are minimized.

-Work with suppliers to ensure critical need dates are met.

-Provide support to the shop floor by ensuring roadblocks are cleared and parts can be received in.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years or a Master's degree with 4 years experience in Global Supply Chain, Requirements Planning, Procurement, Goods Movement, Parts Integration and/or related industry experience.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • A DOD Secret Clearance with background investigation within the past 6 years. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Special Program Access (SP1/SP2)
  • Project Management Experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Experience working/coordinating with various disciplines within and outside of GSC
