Principal / Sr. Principal Contract Administrator

Northrop Grumman Land & Avionics C4ISR Division is seeking a Sr. Principal or Principal Contracts Administrator (CA) to join the Advanced Ground Sensors Business Unit, G/ATOR and Multi-Mission Operating Units (OUs).


Responsibilities may involve the following:

  • Assume a lead role in proposal preparation, fact-finding and the negotiation process. Participate in new business strategies, identifying and analyzing risks and implementing a risk strategy for bid decisions.Review and analyze solicitations to understand requirements and advise the program team and management of all relevant contract issues. Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements.
  • Oversee contract performance by closely monitoring budget and funding, compliance documents, schedules, deliverables, and recommend actions to ensure mutually satisfactory performance.
  • Must be able to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and, as needed, provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Maintain official program records including contractual documents and correspondence with customer and respond to company data calls for assigned programs.
  • Interface with senior management and customer counterparts.
  • Must be a team player, independent, proactive, and possess excellent problem solving, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.




Basic Qualifications:
  • Principal Contract Administrator:6 or more years related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or4 Years related work experience with a Masters or JD degree
  • Sr. Principal Contract Administrator: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years directly related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated experience with highly effective verbal and writtencommunications and presentation communication
  • Good working knowledge of FAR/DFAR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active secret clearance
  • Experience with development programs, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) or Rapid Prototyping
