Principal or Senior Principal Cyber System Engineer - TS/SCI/Poly required

The Cyber Systems Engineer will perform the following:
  • Responsible for design, implementation and management of an independent global MS Windows network.
  • Develop and manage configuration of network installs and upgrades for new or existing hardware and software
  • Design, migrated and manage the virtualization of customer's physical production environment using VMware
  • Implement and perform operational maintenance on forensic analysis tools and ensure system compatibility.
  • Provide network, system, and server administration to the existing and future system architecture, including remote site support.
  • Manage RAID arrays totaling hundreds of TB.
  • Manage user accounts, install COTS and GOTS software, monitor system logs, and perform network throughput analysis to ensure overall system operability.
  • Research and implement system enhancements to improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the system's software and infrastructure.
  • Coordinated with ISSM to facilitate proper system accreditations and create plan of action to mitigate any vulnerabilities
  • Investigate, resolve, and explain system performance issues or problems.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Deploy and Complete medical and training requirements for international travel to support a global network when necessary, supporting network field nodes.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

5 Years with Bachelors degree; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

9 Years with Bachelors degree; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in software engineering, networks, information technology, and/or information systems
  • Proficiency developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMWare vSphere 6.0 virtual architectures
  • Install/Configure/Maintain Microsoft Windows 7/10 Servers and supporting architecture
  • Knowledge establishing and maintaining a Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) architecture on a multi-site network
  • Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory and associated access controls
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues with server and workstation
  • Able to brief system related issues
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure installations
  • Active TS/SCI/ Full Scope Poly clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience or knowledge of Intelligence Community HUMINT collection missions and information operations
  • Experience with the customer's network communications and information security policies
  • Proficient understanding of software operating systems and software application programs engineering, including design, analysis, and modeling
  • Strong project management skills, including schedule and risk management
  • Prior experience with RAID storage
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • Experience with computer forensic tool Advanced Program Interfaces (API's).
