Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA needs qualified system engineers to support mission operations foron-orbit SBIRS payloads. Candidate will support payload state of health, payload command products, and operations support of an operational payload constellation. Secondary assignments are in areas such as launch rehearsal planning and execution, system test planning and execution, design and development of analysis tools, and generation of system databases. Interest in Telemetry Tracking & Commanding of space hardware is required, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs.
Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) & 5 years of engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field & 3 years of engineering experience
* Experience working with MATLAB
* Active & Current DoD Secret security clearance
