Principal Financial Analyst

The AMRAAM Business Office has an immediate opportunity for a individual contributor Principal Financial Analyst to support and manage Missile Production elements of the program. The AMRAAM program is currently under contract through Lot 32 missile deliveries, and is anticipating the Lot 33 follow-on contract award by late-2019 to continue deliveries into 2022. AMRAAM is in use with 38 countries and will have 2019 Sales of nearly $800M.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and completion of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) for Missile Production activities.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and managing to program budgets & financial forecasts for Labor, Material, & ODC.
  • Supporting proposal activities by assessing & analyzing historical data and information while working with Estimating, as well as providing input to answering Customer Requests for information (RFI).
  • Providing support to the Program Leadership Team, as well as the Program and Product Line Finance Leadership Teams.
  • Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization.
  • Providing team leadership to newer & lesser experienced financial analysts.
  • Ad hoc support requests in a fast-paced environment.


Minimum Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, or related field and minimum 6 years of experience in a Finance or Business Management role
  • High level knowledge and experience with APEX, PRISM, and related financial systems
  • Experience with Production Program labor & material analysis
  • Working knowledge & experience with Rplan
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Energetic self-starter with good organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain Secret and Special Access clearances
Minimum Desired Skills:
  • Experience with & understanding of Inter-Organization Transfers (IOT)
Working knowledge & experience with Earned Value concepts
