Principal Financial Analyst

The Tomahawk program has an immediate opening for a finance lead. This is a Principal Financial Analyst (G09) role in support of all financial aspects of a large development program. The candidate will work closely with the program team to ensure the successful execution of the program. This includes helping with baselines, Estimate At Complete (EACs), Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs) including Formats 1 – 7, Contract Funds Status Report (CFSRs), Cost and Schedule Data Report (CSDRs), etc. The principal analyst will also help the team adhere to internal and external policies. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring on time deliverables to internal and external customers. The candidate will also assist with attending various leadership meetings and make recommendations to management.

The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator who has a positive attitude, a desire to learn and be challenged, able to work on a variety of tasks, as well as a variety of management levels. This assignment will provide an opportunity to learn or enhance skills in an Earned Value environment, estimates at completion, variance analyses, and other metrics and tools used in support of engineering projects.

Minimum Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline and minimum 6 years’ experience in a finance, related bachelor’s degree

Proven ability to contribute to development of new concepts, techniques or standard

  • communicate effectively with management

  • perform work without appreciable direction
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Able to meet critical deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in SAP and Microsoft Office tool
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Highly Desired Skills:
  • Professional experience in applications of Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Cost and Schedule integrationContract set-up and EVMS implementation
  • RMS Program Management (PMX) Tool Suite
