What You'll get to Do:

The Triton program is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a team of engineers responsible for the design and production of Ground Control Stations. The engineering team is made up of mechanical, electrical, software, and hardware engineers and they are subdivided into 3 teams: drawings, hardware design, and system production. These individuals and teams work together and get exposure to different fields. The qualified applicant as part of the production team is required to interface across multiple engineering disciplines including build, software installation, information assurance, and system test. Experience in multiple engineering disciplines is required.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Design and oversee production of equipment, system and networks.

* Analyzing and resolving design issues in the areas of communications systems and related electrical systems and components.

* Oversee ground station build from start to finish.

* Work closely with manufacturing and quality to ensure equipment is built to specs. Collaborate with procurement and production for the interpertation of engineering design, documentation, and BOM

* Coordinate SW installation activity, information assurance with customer and security, and perform acceptance testing and final customer signoff.

* Work under general and independent guidance to develop approaches to solutions based on requirements.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* 5 Years with Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar STEM related discipline.

* Manufacturing Engineering Experience working in a production or assembly enviornment

*Active Secret Security Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Experience with electrical/electronic and mechanical hardware design, analysis, and production.

* Visio and SolidWorks CAD 3D design plus full detail drawings, 2+ years of full-time experience.

* Experience with communication systems including payload rack installations, equipment and operations, platform systems integration and ground and flight testing.

* Familiarity with materials and finishes.

* Familiarity with MIL-type connectors, cable design, and electrical analysis techniques.

* Knowledge and understanding of computers and network systems.
