Principal Business Process Analyst

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking an Information Engineer/Business Process Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's FBI ITSSS STOR 159 program.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform enterprise-wide strategic systems planning, business information planning, and business analysis.
Perform research, queries, and retrieval of data from multiple disparate databases containing all possible data types.
Perform extract, transform, and load (ETL) tasks.
Generate complex reports for senior management in a variety of formats.
Maintain integrity and content of complex databases.
Perform process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools, such as Integrated Computer-Aided Software Engineering tools.
Apply reverse engineering and re-engineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents.
Provide guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines with 6 years of experience in development/data warehouse or business intelligence. . An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of structured query language (SQL)/ORACLE, MARIA DB or similar.
Experience with MySQL and ORACLE, MARIA DB or similar database administration, Linux administration, and scripting
Capable of translating business rules into technical requirements.
Proficient in understanding, creating, and maintaining data mapping documentation.
Demonstrated experience investigating data quality issues.
Experience with data modeling.
Experience with business intelligence.
Able to accurately represent customer requirements.
Able to work in an operational environment where priorities change frequently.
Must have a current TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Master's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines.
