Policy Analyst

Responsibilities:

The Policy Analyst shall perform the following functions:

a. Research and analyze the laws, policies and regulations of the US, NATO, EU and other entities and provide recommendations to help ensure EUCOM compliance with all relevant statutes and guidance.
b. Analyze operational requirements in OPLANs, CONPLANs and other planning documents to aid planners with cogent, actionable recommendations to ensure compliance. Recommend potential policy changes to address gaps in policy that may degrade operational effectiveness.
c. Support the development of EUCOM specific policy analyses and policy guidance recommendations for EUCOM command staff to ensure complete coordination and alignment with National policies. Coordinates EUCOM policy issues with components, subordinate commands, and international partners to execute assigned mission requirements.
d. Coordinate and collaborate with government officials and contractors in EUCOM headquarters and other organizations to support a common understanding of the regulatory and policy environment as it relates to EUCOM's mission.
e. Ensure the quality of all services and deliverables across the contract. Ensure high customer satisfaction with all key performance metrics.
f. Ensure compliance with all government and corporate policies.
g. Institute and maintain industry best-practice standards, processes, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Required experience and qualifications:


- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- BA/BS degree.
- 5+ years of overall experience, including at least 3 years of policy analysis.
- Recent (last 5 years) experience conducting policy analysis relevant to EUCOM and its international partners. Relevant policy areas include intelligence oversight, open source/social media analysis, integrated air and missile defense (IAMD), information operations (IO), logistics, offensive and defensive cyber operations (OCO and DCO), exercises, military planning, the Law of Armed Conflict, and coordination with NATO and other international partners.

Desired experience and qualifications; it is desired that the candidate meet one or more of the following experience requirements:

- Experience supporting EUCOM, its components, or NATO.
- Experience supporting another Combatant Command, service component or the Joint Chiefs of Staff in a similar role.
