Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a PMP-Parts Material & Process Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's System Specialty Engineering Team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsible for parts and materials selection oversight in support of the NG counterfeit part prevention program.
Plans and ensures program adherence to the corrosion prevention program and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) planning and control.
Supports hardware design in parts selection and application.
May assist customer in device usage problems or customer testing of complex devices.

Basic Qualifications:
5 Years' experience with Bachelors in Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Active Secret Clearance
1 year experience in Parts, Material & Process Engineering role
Broad comprehension of materials sciences
Strong verbal, writing, spreadsheet and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
3 years' experience in Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) Engineering
