Part-time Russian Linguist - Sierra Vista, AZ (ID#12606)
In direct service to the US Army, the 309th Military Intelligence (MI) Battalion is tasked to train soldiers in support of full spectrum military operations. Some training events require realistic soldier interaction with appropriate personnel for role players and with foreign language-Speaking capabilities. These personnel provide essential training experience to soldiers by realistically, accurately, and convincingly portray HUMINT and Counter Intelligence (CI) sources in a variety of role playing scenarios, in diversified settings and environments, such as practical and situational exercises.
The goal of the Linguist is to provide a realistic portrayal of the specified role, and target language, during a situational training exercise.
The position is part-time with intermittent scheduling. The requirements are in coordination with the 309th MI battalion. The average requirement is four (4) ten (10) hour days for one (1) week each month. Ten (10) hours of travel on the day prior to and post event. The overall monthly hours will come to approximately 55-60hrs.
Lodging, vehicle rental for travel and per diem in accordance with government rates for the visiting county will apply. Flight arrangements for candidates outside of an eight (8) hour driving radius from Sierra Vista, AZ will be considered upon management consent
