Opportunities to support United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM)

Description

SAIC is currently looking for qualified candidates to support a contingent opportunity with the United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM). The United States (U.S.) has maintained success in every operating domain for many years. However, competitors and adversaries have implemented modernization programs to offset this conventional superiority, and the challenges they present are increasingly trans-regional, multi-domain, and multi-functional. Advanced nations are developing sophisticated anti-access and area denial systems, air and missile defense, cyber, Electronic Warfare (EW), and counter-space capabilities to disrupt military deployments into operational theaters. It is the U.S. Army’s (Army) responsibility to generate ready forces that are organized, trained, and equipped for prompt and sustained ground combat to meet these challenges. The Army must prepare its forces to combat and defend against its enemies, which will require concerted efforts to identify efficiencies.

Currently, building readiness is the Army’s main priority, and U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) trains and prepares a combat-ready, globally-responsive Total Force in order to build and sustain readiness to meet Combatant Commanders’ (CCDR) requirements. One of FORSCOM’s Freedom Six priorities is to operationalize the Army Total Force Policy (ATFP). The tenants of the ATFP are to enhance leader development, integrate collective training, improve readiness, and increase interoperability. The Emergent Threat, Training, and Readiness Capability (ET2RC) Task Order (TO) will contribute significantly to achieving this goal.

SAIC is currently looking for qualified candidates to provide real-time, comprehensive threat analysis and assessment, training development and delivery, readiness and modernization support, and logistics and equipment analysis for units and individuals that is driven by threat fusion and continually adapted based on the evolving threat environment. This TO will deliver analysis, research, and training that provides holistic support at Home Station (HS) (permanent location of active duty units and reserve component units) and in the field that replicates the global and regional existing and emergent threats facing the Army and its strategic partners.

SAIC is currently seeking candidates to fill the following positions for the Ft. Drum, NY, Ft. Benning, GA, Ft. Bragg, NC, Ft. Bliss, TX, and Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA areas:

  • Program Manager
  • Program Manager Assistant (Operations)
