TS/SCI Clearance

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

 

1. Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks
 
2. Expert hands-on working experience with as many of the following as possible: routers (Cisco preferred), Cisco ASA platforms with AnyConnect, Juniper SRX platforms, and Palo Alto Firewalls.

 

3. Knowledge of TCP/IP and associated routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, etc

 

4. Strong knowledge of DISA STIG guidance and experience implementing DISA STIGs to secure network devices.

 

5. Strong knowledge of NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program to include the four capability packages (MSC, MA, WLAN, DAR).

 

6. Competence with MS Visio and Powerpoint to update and maintain network design documentation, and develop design plans to be populated among various engineering teams and stakeholders.

 

7. Knowledge of VPN solutions to include Site-to-Site, Multi-site, and client based VPN.  Knowledge also includes PKI certificate based VPN solutions.

 

8. Knowledge with Certificates Authorities (CA) to include Microsoft Server Certificate Services deployments.
 
9.Must possess CCNA or equivalent certification with intent to complete Professional level certification within 1st year.

 

10.Knowledge and experience of Network Automation using tools such as Ansible playbooks, templates, and python scripting.

 

11. Participates in special projects as required.

 

12. This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to AFRICOM AOR.
 

The work is typically performed at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years

 

2. Experience developing and deploying CSfC solutions.
 
3. Proven capability to lead engineering teams on complex deployments.
 
4. Excellent ability for clear and concise oral and written communication; capability to interface at multiple levels and successfully present technical information
 
5. Extensive experience with enterprise network design and sustainment, to include routing, switching, and VPN solutions.
 
6. Experience working within the parameters detailed via DISA STIGs.
 

7. Must possess and maintain a US Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance.

 

8. Must be able to obtain a UK visa. 
 
9. CCNA certification or equivalent required. CCNP or equivalent preferred in security/VPN areas. 8570 IAT II compliance required (CompTIA Security +), 8570 IAT III compliance preferred (CompTIA CASP, CISSP, etc).

 

10. Capacity to track, guide, and when necessary mentor multiple teams simultaneously.

 

11. Strict attention to detail; Adherence to rigid guidelines and processes; Ability to validate, update and maintain accurate records.

 

12. Ability to work in a virtual team environment as well as independently.
