Key Role:
Work on the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links, including microwaves for a wide area network (WAN). Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links, including radios for each system within a client's air and missile defense system. Serve as the government project management office (PMO) liaison, including coordinating all WAN installation activities and schedules and overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of user hardware, software, and peripheral devices as they are integrated.
Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation
-Experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
-Experience with microwave networks
-Experience with radio communications systems
-Experience with VOIP phone systems
-Experience with hardware troubleshooting
-Experience with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Secret clearance preferred
-MA or MS degree in a technical field, including EE, IT, or CS preferred
