Network Engineer

Description

SAIC is looking for a Network Engineer to join an exciting program. PMW 760 is the program office for Ship Integration at NAVWAR and is located in Old Town, San Diego, CA. The position will:

  • Provide support in accelerated development and delivery of new network capabilities and solutions onboard USV platforms.
  • Lead the development, consolidation and submission of required network documentation, in particular the PMW 160 Other Customer Funded (OCF) Network Management System Design Requirements Questionnaire, in support of the USV network design and development.  This will include extensive liaison with all planned USV C4I systems.
  • Work collaboratively with other programs and organizations, such as IWS, NAVSEA, PMWs 120, 160 and 170 to understand their required network capabilities and insure the future USV network will meet these requirements.
  • Support ongoing and future meetings, events and activities such as the Systems Engineering Working Group (SEWG) that support PMW 760’s USV efforts.
  • Development, review and editing of briefing material, white papers, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documents, trade studies and other documents that support PMW 760’s USV program.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or Math. Years of experience may be substituted for a lack of a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of Systems Engineering Management and C4I Systems-of-Systems design and integration experience. 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • NAVWAR/PEO C4I experience.
