Key Role:
Perform specification conformance testing and light fault analysis of state-of-the-art vendor High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) devices. Maintain and administer test procedures using HAIPE devices, standard networking equipment, including switches and routers, and Linux computers running custom software tools and protocol analysis equipment. Maintain responsibility for some system administration on Windows or Linux systems. Prepare high-quality test reports, test procedure updates, and technical recommendation memos for clients. Interact with HAIPE equipment vendors, government program representatives, and HAIPE specification team members.
Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with network or system administration
-Experience with basic Linux system administration
-Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6, the TCP/IP Stack, and network protocols
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-DoD 8570-compliant Security+ Certification or higher, including CISSP, CASP, CISA, CCNA-Security, or CCNP-Security
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with computer network protocols that employ cryptography, including IPSEC, SSL, PKI, or certificate management
-Experience with test and evaluation procedures and reporting
-Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Continuous Monitoring process, including the application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
