The Network Engineer will be actively involved in analyzing the DoDIN-A Joint Management Network. This individual will be involved with the, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of network hardware, software, and communication links as well as analyzing and resolving network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
JOB RESPONSIBLILITIES:
DESIREABLE KEY TECHNOLOGIES:
BA/BS degree in a related technical discipline preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clearance: Must possess a Secret Security Clearance and be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
Certifications: Must meet DoD 8570 requirements for IAT Level II Certification – Security +CF, upon hire.
Computing Environment Certification also required, i.e.; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Palo Alto ACE 8.1 (or higher) – Minimum; Prefer Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certified within 4 months after hire.
Attendance: Must have the ability to work 8-hour shifts in an environment that requires 7 days/24 hour support.
