Required Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent required. A technical bachelor’s degree counts as three (3) years of experience.

Required Experience:  Six (6) + continuous years of work experience in Computer Network Operations, or a related field.


Federal Data Systems is seeking a Multi-Source Intelligence Analyst to fill a position supporting our Maryland partner. Qualified and accepted candidates will work on-site, performing intelligence analysis on select pertinent IMINT, SIGINT (COMINT and Technical SIGINT), MASINT, HUMINT, FININT, and open source material for specified target sets before formatting the information for dissemination. They will also discover, characterize, affiliate, and report new cyber activity and actors, to include describing how the activity is being conducted, and conduct characterization of a sophisticated cyber-capable adversary.

Functional Responsibility:

The Multi Source Support Specialist will:

·         Perform multi-source research for specified targets.

·         Assess the value of materials compiled during research.

·         Create actionable intelligence based on the analysis of materials.

·         Format information for dissemination to customers as end product reports, technical reports, working aids, repositories, and/or collection tippers.

·         Maintain awareness of internal and external customer information needs.

·         Contribute to the creation if SIGINT and Non-SIGINT requirements.

·         Collaborate with other Intelligence Community partners to produce intelligence reports and assessments for National-Level Audiences.


·         Three (3) years of Multi-Source Intelligence Analysis experience working within the Intelligence Community.

·         Demonstrated experience in analyzing intelligence and/or related information and technical data.

·         Demonstrated experience in one or more fields appropriate to Intelligence Analysis or Computer Networking technologies.

·         Demonstrated communications skills that include the ability to provide format documentation of analysis and/or research results.

·         Experience describing opportunities, documenting information and processes, gathering intelligence information, interpreting complex information, and performing internet research.

·         Writing and editing skills at a technical/professional level and managing internal and external customer relations.

Preferences: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
