Job Description

The Mission Operations Lead will be the shift lead on an operations crew that is responsible for the planning and scheduling of activities performed for the operation of a complex real-time system. This 24x7 position (working 12-hr rotating shifts), will be responsible for all requirement coordination, adjudication and tasking at the direction of and in coordination with the customer tasking authority. Candidates should have experience in de-confliction of system assets and resources for a 24x7 operational system. They will coordinate near-term schedule and ad-hoc tasking for an operational system and support re-planning for contingency and emergency operations.

Qualifications

This position requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance. Position is contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence. Please include clearance and date of recent SSBI on profile/resume to be considered

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • This position requires an individual work 12 hour rotating shifts.
  • Windows familiarity as an end user
  • Familiarity with engineering processes, methods and tools
  • Willingness to obtain a Full Scope polygraph - post hire;
  • Must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities, multiple demands and crises;
  • Required to obtain system operations certification; the certification required has knowledge based learning and on the-job training provided;
  • Must have strong analytical skills and demonstrate strength in attention to detail;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments and tools to develop checklists, recurring daily update slides, and update shift pass passdown log;
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written means;
  • Participates in the development of engineering processes, methods and tools;¬†
  • This position works very closely with the customer and requires a professional and customer focused attitude. Work with customers to understand their needs to aid in entry and processing of near-term requirements;

  • Experience working in a real-time operations environment¬†

Typical Education/Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
