Mission Execution Analyst/Systems Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as an experienced member of a 24/7 operations team that leverages national systems in a dynamic and evolving operations environment by applying system expertise in a team responsible for implementing plans and schedules, comprehending and leveraging requirements and systems, and executing optimized strategies to achieve mission objectives. Monitor and operate computer software to process scientific, engineering, or other data according to specific operating instructions and procedures. React appropriately to system messages or error indicators from equipment or control panels, react to operational situations appropriately, and provide recommendations for long-term fixes. Perform daily activities, including working with multiple systems and platforms, invoking defined and stringent processes to ensure mission safety and accomplishment, analyzing and validating software performance, and making recommendations to improve performance and utility of various software programs. Apply expertise on system capabilities, system nuances, tasking, and requirements during real-time operations and execution and ensure resource optimization based on knowledge of system capabilities and constraints. Collaborate with internal and external entities and help to implement optimized strategies that leverage system capabilities while minimizing impacts of system constraints.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with collection management, mission management, or SIGINT operational environments

-2+ years of experience with working in an intelligence community operational environment

-Knowledge of the processes and tools required to execute timelines and provide for the health and safety of mission assets

-Ability to recognize problems or errors, provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and react appropriately

-Ability to work a rotating shift pattern covering a 24/7 mission

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 2 years of experience with intelligence community operational expertise or 6+ years of experience with intelligence community operational expertise

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in more than one collection management, mission management, and SIGINT operational environment preferred

-Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and apply highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts

-Ability to help develop strategies and processes across multiple systems that ensure activities are accomplished in a manner to optimize resource usage and achieve mission objectives

-Ability to leverage existing applications or methods and provide input into the development of new applications that improve products or methods

-Ability to identify needed changes to processes and activities and help to implement solutions

-Ability to work successfully as part of a virtual team
