Mission Assurance Training Manager

Key Role:

Provide non-personal professional services for an Army client to plan, coordinate, conduct, and lead the activities of other persons providing training course and conference or workshop management and delivery to participants at client headquarters and other locations. Coordinate closely with government program leads on mission assurance training course schedule, content, resourcing, and feedback instruments and lead team efforts to plan, deliver, document and provide participant feedback for training courses. Use various automated tools, databases, and other software programs to enhance participant experience and train others on their use and prepare and deliver training course content in classroom, field, and operations center environments in accordance with approved curriculum. Provide observations and recommendations to course participants, collaborate with active duty and civil service government staff, other contractor staff, and counterparts across Army organizations and other government agencies. Provide career management for direct report staff, as needed. This position requires the ability to work extended hours, sometimes outdoors, and travel up to 15% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with formal training and instructional systems development for DoD organizations

-Knowledge of DoD instructional systems concepts in both individual and collective training environments
-Knowledge of DoD and Army mission assurance and protection program doctrine and operations

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with leading efforts for a DoD organization

-Ability to demonstrate leadership and initiative and work without direct supervision

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree

-Completion of formal DoD instructor training

-Completion of formal Level II Anti Threat training
