Mid/Sr. Acquisition Analyst

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Mid-Senior analyst to support PEO IWS 8 Baseline Development of future contract strategies.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Analyze contract performance, incentive fee structures, and draft procurement requests.
  • Evaluate competitive contract initiatives for weapon system development, production and sustainment. 
  • Perform market research to draft Statements of Work (SOWs), Procurement Requests (PRs), or Requests for Information (RFIs) to improve quality of IWS 8.0 procurement packages and future contract initiatives.
  • Coordinate inputs for procurement packages and future contract strategies with IWS 8.0 PAPMs, SEA 00L (NAVSEA Legal) and SEA02 (NAVSEA Contracts) to meet SeaPort e-milestone deadlines.
  • Coordinate with other PEO IWS directorates, USN activities or DoD Agencies whose requirements are included or leveraged in procurement packages.
  • Assist with Baselines Development in preparation of acquisition, program and system life-cycle management documentation.
  • Provide program support in developing agendas, briefing material, point papers, and related material for AEGIS Competitive Alignment, Small Surface Combatant Contract discussions and Contract Horizon meetings to present current and future contract actions and initiatives. 
  • Coordinate with IWS 8.0 PAPMs to identify risks/issues or barriers to contract award for review with IWS Senior Managers.
  • Support drafting of Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Plans (AP), or Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP) to support future contract initiatives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in operations research, management science, business or a related discipline.
  • Secret Security Clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • A minimum of five (5) to 10 years’ experience with development of future contract strategies, procurement requests, contract performance & incentive fee structures, competitive contract initiatives for weapon system development, production & sustainment.
