Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Mid-Level Geospatial Analysis Dissemination & Knowledge Management Specialist at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform infrastructure imagery dissemination support across multi-domain networks. Utilize various national and theater-level imagery storage, retrieval databases, and tools. Work with intelligence analyst community software, databases, and community reporting standards in a tactical and multi-national security environment and DoD and IC automated collaborative tools and networks, such as Intelink and Intellipedia. Work with various commercial, airborne, and national collection platforms (e.g., panchromatic, optical, radar, infrared, and multispectral).

Provide Tier-1 Help Desk imagery dissemination support for Image Access Solutions (IAS), Image Product Library (IPL), Unified Collection Operations Reporting Network (UNICORN) and National Image Library (NIL) systems and databases; including demonstrated functional knowledge of system components.

Monitor and maintain the IPL’s storage databases and perform security classification data verification for finished image products prior to ingest to the server.

Monitor and maintain the IAS and NIL databases and populate with required raw imagery necessary to meet customer needs.

Perform routine system maintenance on imagery dissemination databases and update work center documents (e.g. mission logs, how to manuals, newcomer training guides)."

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience.

Previously trained/certified as a Geospatial (Imagery) Analyst within the Intelligence Community (IC).

Experience and understanding of both product quality and proper dissemination of national-level intelligence imagery products to the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of IC decision-maker authorities.

Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise.
