MHE ILS / Configuration Analyst

Job Description

CACI has an immediate opening for a MHE ILS/ Configuration Analyst in support of MSC Material Handling Equipment (MHE) support program.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Provide recommendations on the design and configuration of MHE and related support assets for MSC vessels, including forklifts, batteries, and battery chargers
  • Compares existing MHE related Shipboard Automated Maintenance Management (SAMM) schedules and procedures with MHE manufacturer recommendations and provide proposed changes
  • Input will include recommendations on the maintenance requirements that must be conducted onboard MSC vessels by shipboard personnel in order for MHE equipment to operate in accordance with the manufacture’s technical guidance and Navy/MSC requirements

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in maintenance of Yellow Gear and 3M maintenance and material management experience
  • 3 years’ experience executing ship acquisition and fleet sustainment support services utilizing any of the following systems: MSC/Navy /Coast Guard databases/systems such as CLIP/CMLS, ShipCLIP, WinMASP, NTCSS, CDMD-OA, SCLSIS, MERLIN, Inter-Active Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) or IHS Haystack
  • High school diploma or GED  and at lease 8 years of experience providing ship acquisition or fleet sustainment logistics support services to MSC, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, or commercial ship operating companies, to include all of the following:
    • Equipment provisioning and allowance modeling to support preventative (planned), corrective (unplanned), and alterative (e.g. TRANSALTs, MACHALTs, etc) maintenance
    • Sourcing of material from commercial and federal sectors.
    • Development and maintenance of ship configuration baselines and equipment/systems top-down breakdown/hierarchical relationships
    • Marine engineering system functionality, components, and associated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements to support planned/unplanned maintenance.
    • Ship repair planning and specification development processes
    • Marine engineering system preventative and corrective maintenance
    • Must have experience in maintenance of Yellow Gear, to include providing recommendations on the design and configuration of MHE and related support assets for MSC vessels, including forklifts, batteries, and battery chargers
    • Must have 3M maintenance and material management experience
