Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

The OmegA Deputy Chief Engineer for Ground Operations will join an exciting and dynamic Launch Vehicle program team responsible for development, production, and recurring launch operations of the OmegA Launch System. The Ground Operations Deputy Chief Engineer is responsible for the technical performance of facility and ground systems including hardware, software, systems engineering, and Integration & Test. The Ground Operations Deputy Chief Engineer provides technical oversight, guidance, and support for multiple groups including sub-contractors, NASA KSC, VAFB, Eastern and Western Ranges, and the OmegA Operations Team. The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams, excellent written and oral communication skills, and will have experience with the design, analysis, fabrication, verification, activation, configuration management and maintenance of ground systems associated with launch vehicles. Experience with standing up launch infrastructure, solid propellants, cryogenic liquids, and pneumatic systems is valuable, as is a demonstrated ability to lead failure investigations and drive complex technical problems to resolution. Demonstrated experience with Launch Vehicles and Launch Sites is required. Candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how to manage and integrate teams located in different geographical locations. Given the nature of the OmegA ground system development, it is highly desirable that the candidate be located in Florida. Should the candidate not be located in Florida, extensive travel to KSC will be required. Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.

Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering and minimum of ten (10) years of related experience.
