Mgr Programs 1

The Program Manager will work within the Advanced Radar Operating Unit of the Advanced Strike and Mission Enablers Business Unit. This individual will support the Vesuvius O&S Program Manager in all facets of program execution with a focus on program business rhythm, schedule, and delivering on commitments.
A successful performer in this role will become familiar with all Program Manager Responsibilities and assist the PM in driving Program actions to a close. This role spans activity across the program and will serve as focal point for the program integration team. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the PM with:
Development of customer relationships and cultivation of customer intimacy
Statement of Work (SOW) creation
Development and delivery of presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders
Preparation of metrics and internal progress reports for management (IPRS, Dashboard, BUR, etc.)
Leading and directing a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Management of personnel, company resources, and other assets in support of program execution
Development and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and tools
Projecting estimate at complete (EAC), monthly spend rate, and funding tracking
Government Property (GFE, CFE, etc.) tracking and management
Establishing and reinforcing business rhythms for monthly metrics, action items, risk management, schedule tracking
Driving material procurement process

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated success in managing projects to cost and schedule requirements.
Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
In scope US Government Top Secret security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
Program or Project Management experience in Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain Management
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with 5 years experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Government contracts
Prior experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and MS Project
