Job Summary: Manager I Program Cost Schedule & Control

The Total Ship Integrated Systems Finance organization has an immediate opportunity for a Business Manager in support of the Dual Band Radar (DBR) Program. Responsibilities include direct supervision of one Program Analyst in support of variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, project setup and NWA management. The Business Manager will also be responsible for all aspects of the Forecasting process including Annual Operating Plan and Five Year Plan development, monthly Forecasting, and weekly tracking. Additional responsibilities include providing support to the DBR Program Manager, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs) in establishing and maintaining program budgets and forecasts, interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization, participation in the development of, and support to, customer monthly Program reviews, as well as the preparation of detailed CDRL's in support of contract

Required Skills:
  • 6 years of experience in a finance or business management role
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • Experience in using SAP
  • Strong understanding of Earned Value Management Principles and Processes including CPR development
  • Strong desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain a DOD secret security clearance

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management

Desired Skills:
  • Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Proven ability working independently and with higher levels of management

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
