Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, campaign oriented individual to lead a team of cross discipline engineering specialists located in San Diego, CA with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:

- Directs activities for all product lifecycles for Reliability and Maintainability supporting the San Diego Autonomous Design Center of Excellence

- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance for the PHM, and Modeling and Simulation groups

- Acts as contact for disciplines' activities, leading review sessions with internal and external customers

- Supports design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, test, and deployment / sustainment. Develops new business or expands capability with the programs.

- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

- Directs the work of employees supporting programs from technical, execution and administrative areas.

- Understands statistical analyses and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies

- Understands task sequencing, based on product lifecycle phase, for Reliability and Maintainability products and services

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and minimum of5 years of leadingteams

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance

- Familiarity with Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), Failure Mode Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Probability of Loss of Control/Aircraft/Mission, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Thermal and Vibration Testing methodologies, Reliability and Maintainability Predictions and Allocations, and Reliability Centered Maintenance / Condition Based Maintenance



Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of leading multi-disciplined teams

- EVMS/Work Package Manager Experience

- Experience performing Prognostics Heath Management and Modeling and Simulation tasking in support of programs

- Previous experience as a leader

- Experience with Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), Failure Mode Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Probability of Loss of Control/Aircraft/Mission, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Thermal and Vibration Testing methodologies, Reliability and Maintainability Predictions and Allocations, Airworthiness Certification Criteria, Subsystem Safety Hazard Analysis, Failure Modes Effects Testing, Reliability Centered Maintenance / Condition Based Maintenance

- Experience with Reliasoft, Relex, LCD

- Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
