Mgr Capture Management 3

The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector Business Development's Offer Design and Acquisition Strategy function is seeking a multi-disciplined Capture Strategist Manager 3.

This position requires someone who can co-lead capture efforts to secure new or re-compete business by providing leadership in the development of technical, management, and business value propositions using critical thinking and
serve as a facilitator, coach and trainer. The positions requires someone who will work across functional boundaries to assess products, capabilities, technology, business models, and management approaches to develop customer value propositions and discriminating offers.


The position also collaborates with Competitive Assessment (CA) and Price To Win (PTW) specialists, consultants, and peers to enhance the enterprise's probability of win, drive the utilization of business development tools and resources to assist in validating assumptions enhancing the quality of the win strategy, participates on color review teams, and co-lead workshops throughout the pre- and post-proposal process.


The successful candidate will have functional-related expertise.
- As a capture leader (or team member) capturing key enterprise programs
- Providing capture managers with insight in the development of winning capture strategies and plans
- Facilitating, coaching and mentoring the capture teams in the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
- Poviding expertise and guidance in the development of key capture BAP artifacts
- Co-developing and facilitating technical, management, business value propositions to be communicated in customer contact plans and documented in proposal development. In addition to the functional-related expertise, the successful candidate will possess strong people-leadership skills with the
ability to;
- Execute challenging assignments
- Help employees connect their efforts to the bigger strategic business picture

- Build a culture that balances caring and accountability and motivates employees to their highest levels of performance
- Demonstrate strategic and market development and business development leadership
- Exhibit strong public speaking, facilitation, planning, and execution skills

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field with (10+) years of new business capture, and/or proposal development work
experience
- Previous experience in capture management including one as a capture lead and 2 or more as capture support
- Previous experience leading a team of 5 or more people
- Active and current DoD Secret government security clearance is required to commence employment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Capture experience in the DoD and Commercial captures
- Active US DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI access
- Five plus (5+) years in Program Management, Engineering, and Business Development titled roles
