Avionics and Tactical Networks (ATN) is an operating unit within the Mission Systems division of Northrop Grumman Information Systems. ATN is located in the Rancho Carmel facility in San Diego, California.
Our expertise is in delivering complex equipment to enable modern battlefields and support aviation missions. Our focus is on the world of avionics, radio and electronic warfare product applications to enable networked communications. As part of the corporation’s business focus area on Communications, we are the “equipment providers.” Our team of communication systems experts is developing next-generation ground radios for land forces, and our Electronic Warfare subject matter experts are creating the next generation of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) countermeasures to keep our soldiers safe when in harm’s way.
Roles and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following.
• Establish ESD certification of work stations throughout the facility and maintaining a record of due dates and expirations.
• Sets up ESD certification of new work stations as they are deployed.
• Responsible for all chemical material used in production.
• Keeps shelf life information current.
• Keeps records of inventory in production.
• Works in compliance with the Health and Safety procedures.
• Maintains inventory of adequate supplies for spare parts for process equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on process equipment per Solumina Preventive Maintenance process.
• Assembles benches, cart and shelving for the Production floor.
• Installs and maintains dry nitrogen hoses and guns at all the assembly work stations.
• Maintains the chemical storage area.
• Performs other maintenance and repair tasks when necessary.
