Material Program Manager

Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) is looking for a Material Program Manager (MPM) who is a strong leader and has great interpersonal relationship skills. You must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives in a matrix environment, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of management. This role is in the Advanced Concept Technology (ACT) Business area which is focused on cutting edge product design and development. This position will involve Company funded (Capital/Investment) , and customer/program material requirements and will focus heavily on supplier sourcing and strategies to transfer the material requirements/supply base for follow work to Material Program Managers in other business units. This is an individual contributor role, but you must be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and/or Integrated Product Team (IPT). You are the single point of contact to management and to internal customers, including Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating the teams EV data & interfacing with finance
  • Pulling ZCMR data and reports for the team
  • Supporting proposals and writing labor BOEs
  • Managing Company investment, capital, and customer funded programs/contracts across multiple sites
  • Monitoring team performance metrics and proactively working with PC to address issues
  • Executing make/buy/where process per company policies and guidelines
  • Guiding multiple functions on developing Supplier Statement of Work (SSOWs) and ensuring adherence to RTN command media
  • Developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans for capture/proposal efforts and program execution
  • Monitoring performance metrics and proactively acts to address program and functional issues
  • Developing and executing risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related fields
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Work, Power Point
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Qualifications:
  • TS Clearance
  • 4 years’ experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or commercial industries
  • MBA
  • Experience collaborating with the Subcontract Administrator to develop Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Experience supporting/leading proposal efforts
  • Experience with SAP and the Supply Chain Suite of Tools
  • Raytheon MPM level 4 certification or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR)
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or equivalent
  • Experience in procurement or production control
  • Experience in data analysis writing scripts or using Tableau

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
