The Advanced Concepts and Technologies (AC&T) group of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer.

The MES Engineer will join our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) semiconductor foundry, which develops and implements advanced semiconductor device technologies to support capabilities within and across the Sectors to distinguish NGC from its competitors.

Northrop Grumman's ATL semiconductor foundry is a unique capability supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, Silicon Carbide, Carbon Nanotubes) and providing leading edge technology development in superconducting electronics. Our devices enable a number of Northrop Grumman's ground based radars, avionic radars, and space systems.

The MES Engineer will support ATL activities with typical responsibilities to include:

Work and collaborate with MES users, engineering, and technical support teams within ATL's Fabrication and Test / Assembly labs to set up and maintain Workflows/ route building setup required to process lots in the labs.

Create and maintain user accounts in MES, SPACE and other systems.

Work and collaborate with MES users, engineering, and apps team on improving operational performance and turnaround time for MES system user and Workflow/Trip Ticket requests

Formulate and maintain MES procedures and documentation

Train new and existing users

Identify opportunities to optimize and integrate isolated user systems and or automate existing processes for efficiency

Be a part of short and long term projects to implement process improvements and efficiencies

Implement methodologies and processes for reporting performance metrics

The MES Engineer should have quantitative, analytical, and process improvement skills; good organizational, project management, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; and basic IT related skillsets.

Possess a desire to learn Fab processing, equipment modeling and site modeling in MES.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Semiconductor Engineer:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, and Electronics Technology Degree with 2 yrs related in technical support.
Basic skillsets in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint ( ex: publishing, collaboration, creation, and maintenance)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Semiconductor Engineer:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, and Electronics Technology Degree with5 yrs related in technical support.

Basic skillsets in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint ( ex: publishing, collaboration, creation, and maintenance)

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
