Manager, Subcontract Program Management

Subcontract Program Management Lead

As a Subcontract Program Manager (Manager III, Subcontract Program Management) you will lead major subcontractors, and team members in support of our AN/TPY-2 product line.

This is a results-oriented role with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, risk management. Your general responsibilities will include strategy development and tactical execution to produce major assemblies and associated technologies for the AN/TPY-2 radar across multiple programs. This is a highly visible role and the individual will be an impactful leader within the Global Supply Chain Management functional organization and a key partner in the Missile Defense Programs business.

Position can be located in Woburn, MA.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Form and lead Subcontract Management teams supporting major end item production
  • Develop and communicate global supply chain strategies with Senior Leadership at multiple Raytheon businesses
  • Direct supplier start up activities including supplier assessments, performance management, risk and opportunity management, technical requirements flowdown and compliance
  • Partner technology insertion, redesigns, and supplier development with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
  • Proposal support and leadership
  • Cross functional team leadership as supplier activity progresses
  • Travel is required (25% or greater)

Required Skills
  • 10 years of relevant business experience
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain an Interim level secret clearance within 30 days of employment and a final thereafter

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Skills:

  • Manufacturing, Procurement, or Operations management experience
  • Experience using Product Data Management tools and MRP systems such as PRISM
  • EVMS Certification
  • PM, MPM, or SCM Certification (any level)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally at Senior Leadership levels
  • Risk Management experience
  • Knowledge and experience working with FAR, DFAR
  • Knowledge of Export/Import requirements
  • Strong management and leadership skills
