Manager III-Program Management

Job Description:
Advanced Products Center (APC) is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager responsible for the overall execution of production and development type contracts supporting the business performed by APC. The business area has multiple contracts/IOTs spanning development and production of RF Modules, TRIMMS, and Subsystems. The selected individual will be responsible for overall program execution, supporting capture activities including proposals, cost estimating approach and analysis, and gates. Further responsibilities include developing and communicating strategy and tactics to reduce cost, improve quality, increase performance and reliability, and improve overall competitiveness of the APC product lines.

This role requires daily interface with customers and program management in communicating financial status, operations status, issues, and opportunities. This position additionally ensures risk/opportunity management plans are comprehensive and executed to meet program and business commitments. Selected candidate will ensure execution of the annual and 5 year business plan to meet commitments to Raytheon. Selected candidate will be accountable for partnering across business units.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationships, communicating status
  • Leading collaborative efforts to identify and convert needs into solutions and conceptual programs
  • Communicating clearly and removing barriers to execution
  • Presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures including IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and EAC required program statuses to the APC leadership team.

Required Skills:
  • 10 years of related experience in the industry
  • EVMS Certified
  • PM Level 4 Certification or plan to achieve certification within 1 year of hire
  • Proposal Experience
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF Subsystems
  • Demonstrated success working with customers to drive requirements
  • Experience managing strategic business to drive growth
Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline or program management experience in a highly technical field
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. 152261
