Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Business Development Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
Incumbent executes business development and F/A-18 and F-5 responsibilities in two distinct areas: domestic and international business development for Global Strategy and Mission Solutions, and program development and support tasks for the F/A-18 and F-5 program manager.
Directly reports to the Military Aircraft Systems Division Business Development lead. Executes program-level domestic and international tasks as directed by the F/A-18 and F-5 program manager.
Responsibilities include support for ongoing capture efforts, protect and grow initiatives for existing programs, and development of new domestic and international markets. Additional responsibilities include development of; Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Non Contractual Technical Activity (NCTA) plans, developing advertising and trade show requirements, developing communication plans for customer, legislative and prime contractor tasks, and executing division, sector and corporate business development plans. Incumbent is also the NGAS Hornet Industry Team (HIT) lead, representing company interests in meetings with the prime and HIT partners.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
Former Naval/carrier Aviation or Naval Flight experience
Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance
Demonstrated experience in the DoD acquisition, requirements and planning processes.
Former Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer qualified in F/A-18 or F-35C
Program management experience in Naval Air Systems Command or equivalent
Qualified Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor or Test Pilot
Former VX-9 or Naval Air Warfare Development Center staff member
