Management Analyst (USMC Contracts/Acquisitions)

ManTech is seeking a Management Analyst professional possessing experience with the use of advanced information technology to develop and/or integrate complex data. This effort is related to the Systems and Software Engineering and Acquisition Management Support for the Vehicular Technology Transition Integrated Products Team (IPT) in support of the Digital Integration Facility (DIF). This position is directly related to the Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) program as a PM Support Analyst which will help prepare weekly deliverables for the team (current action items, accomplishments for the week, risks) based on feedback received from relevant team members. Track action items during weekly engineering meeting and follow up with assigned team members to keep active status. Help manage risks in a risk exchange tool. Assist in coordination of visiting personnel to Charleston. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support the IPT Lead and the Program Support Manager in the administration of the project schedule, risks, monthly status reports, weekly status reports, and other programmatic documents.
• Develop contract schedules, out year planning and POM budgets, compliance planning and program planning.
• Support project controls (organizational charts, work breakdown structures, etc.) within the IPT as required.
• Develop and monitoring project management procedures including out of year budgeting for program offices.
• Assist in the analysis of program management, technical, or business related project functions.
• Schedule meetings, take meeting notes, and track action items.
• Collect information and formulate data calls. 
• Transpose agendas, presentation materials, and minutes/reports as required.
• Possess superior analytical skills with effective oral/written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Work efficiently both autonomously or on a team.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
  • Must be adept in requirements analysis; project management procedures including out year budgeting for programs, development of contract schedules, out year planning and POM budgets, compliance planning and program planning. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain professional interaction with Government clients, program management personnel and other contractors.
  • Must have an active SECRET security clearance.

Required Experience:

  • Six (6) years of Contract Management experience, to include: Development of Program Acquisition Documentation, Development of Testing Criteria, Development of Corrective Action Systems, Development of Program Monitoring Approach (e.g. PERT, CPM, EVM), Analysis of Programs Health, Data Collection and Analysis, Development of Cost Estimates, and Development of Program Status Reports.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
