SUMMARY

The Management Analyst II is responsible for providing a variety of client services to assist spouses and family members of direct-hire U.S. government employees serving overseas. Services are delivered in person through individual coaching, training and presentations, publications, and networking with businesses and virtually via telephone, meetings, webinars, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Primarily responsible for staffing the AF/SA OMS desk, greeting, and directing visitors, Department employees, and guests, in person or over the telephone.
  • Greet, assess, and respond to all non-AF visitors, even those with State Department badges, to best direct their interest or need to access AF/SA offices.
  • On a case-by-case basis, call AF/SA to apprise that a visitor is waiting at the Front Desk or direct visitors to the AF/SA employee offices
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, professional appearance at the AF/SA OMS desk
  • Assist new employees with check-in procedures, to include account login, nameplates, phone lists, building and/or door access, and business cards.
  • Facilitate and acquire visas, to include visa letters and “visa runs” to drop off/pickup passports
  • Provide travel support, to include travel arrangements, submit and monitor country clearance requests submission of travel authorization requests, filing travel vouchers. Serve as E2 Travel Arranger for AF/SA staff. o Provide voucher support, to include submission of petty cash travel vouchers and domestic representational events reimbursements.
  • Submit time and attendance (TATEL), serving as “alternate” to main timekeeper.
  • Assist in making appointments, reserving conference rooms, escort non-cleared
  • visitors and workers.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and pass on calls appropriately.
  • Collect mail from our boxes in AF/EX office and AF/FO
  • Monitor office equipment ensuring all items remain in working order
  • Order supplies and maintain supply room
  • Submit work orders for maintenance, computer and custodial issues

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory or management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in management or business and 3 years of related experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 Controlled climate office environment.
