Logistics Manager

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Logistics Manager to support our customer. Position will be based out of Doha, Qatar

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Under limited supervision, the Logistics Manager will report to the In-theater Project Manager to ensure successful receipt, storage, inventory, and shipment of all parts, cabling, components, subsystems, and systems to international customer locations for installation of equipment in Jordan, Kuwait, UAE, and Qatar.
  • Ensure that all necessary completed paperwork complies with applicable export, federal, state, and local standards and regulations; and notify project managers of any shipment delays due to processing of paperwork or international shipment schedules.
  • Perform regular inventory inspections to ensure all equipment is cataloged and stored properly.
  • Coordinate with base personnel on incoming and outgoing shipments. Provide frequent status updates to base liaison and overseas site managers to include all issues.
  • Coordinate with subcontracted shipping entities for inbound/outbound shipments and monitoring of shipment schedules.
  • Assist with the verification of applications and data in the Contractor Verification System (CVS).
  • Submit new hire/renewal Common Access Card (CAC) applications and track Letters of Authorization (LOA).

Required Skills:

  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree applicable to logistics management. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Possesses a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in logistics management that includes at least five (5) years of experience supporting Department of Defense systems, preferably Air Force.
  • Must have experience with DoD RMA process.
  • Must have experience with DoD Logistics in OCONUS locations.
  • Must be knowledgeable and technically competent in all facets of product support to include, but not limited to, technical manual development, training, supply chain management, and maintenance concepts.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity with working in warehouse environment and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Desired Skills:

  • Experience understanding and supporting electronic security system installation.
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite of applications (i.e. Excel and Word).
