SOSi is seeking a Logistics Manager for a full-time position supporting our United States Government (USG) customer.  The Logistics Manager will maintain accountability for program and customer assets, including support of the customers’ logistics section.  This position will report to the In-Country Program Manager.


  • Responsible for property accountability for program Government Furnished Equipment/Contractor Furnished Equipment (GFE/CFE) to include property book, document register, and hand receipt files
  • Prioritizes logistical requirements, forecasts replacement stock, and maintains records for life-cycle replacement of all computer hardware and peripherals
  • Manages logistical functions of the program by working closely with the Operations Manager (OM) and In-Country Program Manager (ICPM)
  • Process requests and receipts, storage, issue, accountability, and preservation of customer supplies and equipment, including both GFE and Contractor-Acquired Property
  • Researches pricing, coordinates with corporate purchasing department for preferred vendor pricing, prepares requirements memo, and produces purchase requests; tracks purchases and shipments; records newly received equipment in property book and properly tags it as GFE/CAP

  • Active DoD SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree desired
  • Five (5) years of experience in Logistics or Supply positions
  • Function effectively during heightened threat levels and extended periods of high stress and physical danger
  • Organize and properly prioritize work assignments and function well in an environment that requires constant multi-tasking - and often long hours
  • Excellent written, oral, briefing, interpersonal and technical skills


  • Fluency in foreign language


  • Live and work with military customers in austere conditions across Afghanistan daily
  • Function effectively and efficiently in a conflict zone, during extended periods of high pressure and stress
