The selected candidate will work in within our Sustainment Engineering and Technical Center on projects supporting the B-2, E-3 AWACS and other military assets. We have a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with engineers, users, and customers. Our diverse work environment is comprised of nearly equal parts multidisciplinary engineers and other technical experts. Team members interact will interact with external Government customers and civil partners on a regular basis. As a key team member, you'll function in a variety of specializations.

Responsibilities will include:

Analysis of aircraft maintenance programs to determine effectiveness and create written recommendations for increasing efficiency and effectiveness

Executing Reliability Centered Maintenance and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis assessments of avionics systems and complete airframes

Drafting recommendations provided to customer for compliance with Northrop Grumman, Military and Civil engineering standards to include Air Traffic Association MSG-3 and other FAA guidance

Technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Processing logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Translating functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies and customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Compiling reports, plans and presentations for project leaders.

Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must have solid written and verbal skills in order to effectively interact with Government counterparts, other defense contractor organizations, and other cross-functional organizations
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of technical experience on military aircraft systems, a Master's degree with 13+ years of relevant experience
- Candidate must have 6+ years combined experience in aviation maintenance, maintenance planning, manufacturing, or design
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
- Must be able to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with Air Transportation Association MSG-3 maintenance planning and evaluation is highly desirable. A top candidate will have previous exposure to maintenance requirements developmentand analysis IAW FAA Advisory Circular 121-22C and MSG-3 Revision 2015.1.
- Box and airframe level Failure Mode Effects Analysis experience
- Previous experience with automated processing software specific to MSG-3, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and Failure analysis
- Experience with modified 707 series aircraft
- Background in aviation/equipment maintenance and/or aircraft operations
- Experience planning and scheduling depot maintenance activities
- FAA Flight Engineer certificate with a jet or turboprop rating, or valid FAA airframe and
power plant (A&P) license and/or Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT).
- Experience with reading and understanding technical data (e.g., Technical Orders, Engineering Drawings, parts lists, Bills of Material, Engineering Specifications, etc.) and detailed knowledge
