Logistics / Facilities Specialist, #4275

LinQuest is seeking a Logistics / Facilities Specialist to join our team at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs.

The highly skilled and motivated Logistics / Facilities Specialist will join a high-performance team to architect and engineer US Space Command (USSPACECOM) facilities. The shall provide technical services to support USSPACECOM facility requirements, facility maintenance and repair, and office space management. These tasks will be reviewed and approved by the unit government entity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional needs and assist the Government in developing requirements for new facilities
• Compile space requirements for submission to USSPACECOM facilities utilization process
• Recommend office layouts and office moves to support USSPACECOM operations
• Manage work requests for maintenance and repair of existing facilities and assigned office space. Coordinate facility services provided by contractors such as pest control, Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning (HVAC) cleaning and adjustment, etc.
• Escort contractors providing services such as pet control, HVAC cleaning, etc. and confirm the performance of facility services and corrections of the deficiencies
• Provide for office moves and office reconfiguration services

Required Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in related field or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
• 5+ years of related facilities management experience or logistics required
• Ability to communicate clearly using oral or written media
• US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position

Preferred Experience:

• Registered as a professional engineer in one of 50 states or a US Territory desired
