Logistics and Supply Chain Management Analyst

Key Role:

Employ established supply chain and material management strategies within government or commercial organizations. Perform assessment and implementation of strategies and techniques to achieve optimized material flow, throughput, and costs and customer service levels. Assist clients with balancing resources, requirements, goals, objectives, plans, and operational techniques across supply chain material management elements within an organization. Use best business practices, rules, data collection, and performance measurement techniques. Perform material management quality assessments and assess and help clients implement, execute, and optimize techniques and processes, including supplier relationship management, customer relationship management, risk management, and aligning functional processes with organizational goals, objectives, and priorities. Develop consulting skills and expertise to deliver high-quality work products to support projects, interacting regularly with clients. Offer solutions and new ideas and identify opportunities to grow existing business or support firm wide initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in program and project management or related organizational or operational support, including demonstrated cost, budget, and analytical expertise

-Ability to leverage the techniques, tools, distribution channels, analytics, and management processes developed by the commercial supply chain industrial base to create a dynamic, solution-focused, supply chain operation that integrates and manages the flow of products, services, and information to reduce costs and effectively and efficiently meet mission objectives

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Six Sigma Certification
