Logistics Analyst with TS/SCI CI Poly

Job Description

Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities. 

  • Performs clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Receive, barcode, inventory and disposition assigned equipment
  • ​Update tracking/management database with asset information
  • Move equipment between facilities via pallet jack or push cart
  • Maintain consumable stock levels - complete equipment reorders as required
  • Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration  of various phases of day-to-day  provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities. 
  • Conducts distribution  and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
Education

BA/BS in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Qualifications

2+ years of related inventory management experience. 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI and be willing to take and pass a CI Polygraph if requested.

 

We’re looking for a hands-on logistics analyst and technician to be part of a team of logistics professionals focused on supporting the customer’s mission at the largest site in the customer’s enterprise.  Be ready for full days, fast pace, and a variety of skill sets used throughout the week.  Our Logistics Analysts perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping/receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments and database maintenance, annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government logistics managers for disposition, as well as assisting other work centers to identify and satisfy their logistics requirements.  Must be able to lift 30 pounds or more; significant walking between offices and buildings, as well as, accessing IT equipment in and around office furniture, as part of annual inventory is required.  Position also requires ability to perform both manual labor associated with (among other duties) palletizing/de-palletizing equipment plus above average skills with office computers and applications, to include MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.  Attention to detail and ability to track multiple logistics taskings through established and evolving policy a must.
