Logistics Analyst

Job Description

CACI is seeking a logistics analyst with background and experience in supply material management. The Logistics Program Support Analyst will assist the Deputy Principal Assistant to the Program Manager for Logistics by providing In-Service ILS support to a major US Navy ship acquisition program. This position is located in Washington D.C.


What You’ll Get to Do:

The Logistics Program Support Analyst will assist the Deputy Principal Assistant to the Program Manager for Logistics by providing In-Service ILS support to include:

  • Coordinate with NAVSUP WSS and DLA Land & Maritime on supply support, provisioning, spares stocking and other related topics.
  • Assist in identifying spares and repair parts funding support requirements for new hardware procurements, modifications, engineering change proposals, etc.
  • Utilize Program Support Data (PSD) Automated Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS) to identify and submit funding requirements for Installation and Checkout (INCO) kits, interim support, Depot Stock (DS), and On Board Repair Parts (OBRPs).
  • Assist in tracking and completing action items from a variety of sources, such as monthly Supply Support Working Group Meetings, ILS Management Team Meetings, NAVSUP-LCS Summit Meetings, and Logistics Support Working Group meetings.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years of business analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Experience with US Navy Shipbuilding Program support and/or Integrated Logistics Support.
  • Prior military experience, either as military or government civilian
  • Current active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
