Key Role:
Prepare program and maintenance managers daily summary status reports for use in planning routine and corrective maintenance actions, including technical issues reported by CASREP messages, Automated Work Number (AWN) 2kilos, and Navy 311 tickets. Plan, coordinate, and report on Distance Support (DS) efforts and recommend changes to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness. Maintain close contact with the Class Squadron (CLASSRON), maintenance organizations, and the onsite maintenance engineer to help ensure timely and appropriate response actions. Coordinate and interface with the client, other government activities, and various contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones, and product deliveries. Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Logistic Certification (LOGCERT) checklists, and a Logistics Support Guide (LSG). Perform LOGREP services, including inputting data into various databases, systems, or applications and developing, maintaining, and updating a variety of reports, charts, and graphs. Support the identification and research of shipboard and shore-based facility requirements to identify unique support equipment, facility environmental requirements, and unique operating conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with Navy logistics and working on an operational system and network in a government or government support role
-5+ years of experience with DoD life cycle logistics in an acquisition or sustainment organization
-Experience with developing DoD acquisition documents, including analyzing a life cycle sustainment plan
-Knowledge of logistics processes and operational systems
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree in an Engineering-, Financial-, or Science-related field
-DAWIA Level II Certification in Life Cycle Logistics
