Key Role:
Analyze the development and implementation of logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flow. Analyze the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve preferred delivery times and order fill rates. Maintain appropriate records, prepare reports, and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with developing or implementing processes and procedures as a logistics planner supporting a DoD program
-Knowledge of DoD logistics processes and procedures, including the Defense Acquisition System and providing logistical support for the creation of program artifacts
-Ability to implement logistics plans for DoD communications systems
-Ability to analyze the effectiveness of logistics activities and recommend optimizations
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree preferred
