Linux Operations Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:

What if you could use your hardware and software skills to improve the technology supporting operational Enterprise Cross-Domain Services? With so much relying on complex systems, a skilled systems administrator can be the difference that makes a project successful. We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven senior Linux administrator, who is passionate about operating a next generation enterprise cross-domain service platform. We work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, building special-purpose security applications and using cutting-edge technologies.

As a senior systems administrator on our project, you'll lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance responsibility for a next-generation enterprise cross domain service platform, including technologies, such as RedHat Enterprise Linux/CentOS version 6 and 7, trusted multi-level guards, MySQL, Apache Storm, Zookeeper, JBoss, JMS, HAProxy, and the Elastic Stack. You’ll work as part of a dynamic team to keep systems maintained and optimized through daily, weekly, and monthly patching, upgrades, and tuning when system maintenance is required. You’ll help customers overcome the challenges that come with scaling, Cloud migration, and other common challenges using DevOps tools like SaltStack and Python. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management using the Elastic Stack and Splunk. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve Enterprise Cross-Domain Services across the Intelligence Community.

Empower change with us.
