Laundry Reception Clerk
POSITION SUMMARY
PAE seeks a Laundry Reception Clerk (LRC) for a position located in Niger, Africa, on an Installation Sustainment Services contract supporting the Air Force. The LRC will report to the Billeting Manager and will be responsible for assisting the Billeting Manager as required in the daily operation of the Laundry facilities at the Site. The LRC will respond to any requests of the Billeting Manager, Program leadership and perform any other duties as assigned by the Program leadership team.
The LRC assists with the day to day operations of site lodging as needed to include stocking/restocking, inventory and tracking of laundry facility supplies, assisting to maintain a neat and orderly area, and supporting the linen exchange operations area as needed to include checking in and out and maintaining linen accountability for all eligible personnel through computerized system or worksheets as directed. Included in this function will be a full range of duties including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, and quality control to assure the performance of the work in accordance with the time and quality standards in the contract while maintaining all required reporting as directed in PWS or by Program or Site leadership.
The B/LEC shall be available within 2 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel to discuss problem areas.
High school diploma or GED.
WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONSThis position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
